En este recorrido, aprenderá cómo los cooperativistas cosechan y producen el cultivo del café. Verá los granos de café, rojos y verdes, que crecen en un denso bosque de coníferas. La plantación Chicoj ha incorporado las técnicas locales de cultivo Q’eqchi en su proceso.
Después del recorrido, tendrá la oportunidad de deslizarse en tirolesa a través del dosel de la plantación. Este viaje rápido lo llevará a través de una pequeña laguna artificial. En el camino, verás más de cerca los enormes árboles que crecen en el ambiente tropical y húmedo de la plantación.
Desde la década de 1980, la plantación ha brindado oportunidades de empleo a la comunidad Q’eqchi. Como parte del recorrido, obtendrá una taza de café Chicoj preparado en 7 distintos métodos.
Después del recorrido, puede visitar la tienda de artesanías de la plantación. Encontrarás joyas y otros recuerdos hechos con granos de café. Todos los artículos están hechos a mano.

From the seed to the cup
My friend and I went to the finca de café Chicoj to learn more about my favorite drink in the morning. During our private tour we learned about every step of the coffee production chain - from the seed to the cup. After the tour we got some coffee and espresso samples. You immediately note the high quality of this delicious coffee which is hand picked and carefully processed ! Puedo recomendar este tour no solamente a todas las personas que son amantes del café, sino también a aquellos que simplemente se interesan por el proceso de producción del café - como mi amiga.

Excelente recorrido
La guía fue muy amable y nos llevó en un recorrido bastante extenso y explicativo. Además , el precio es accesible y vale la pena para conocer el proceso del café de Coban (uno de las regiones de café de Guatemala).La degustación de café fue excelente !!

Kaffeetour mit Zipline Action
Wir habe hier auf dem Gelände 2 Tage gecampt und sind durch die Kaffee Plantagen gelaufen und haben auch andere Nutzpflanzen wie Bananen und Melonen gesehen. Alles wird sehr lokal gehalten und englisch wird nicht viel gesprochen. Aber man tut sein bestes. Wenig Touristen viel real life! Wer Kaffee mag wird glücklich. 7 Ziplines machen natürlich Spaß! Aussicht ist wunderbar und man sieht ganz Coban. Und Stechinsekten gibt es viele also schön autan benutzen.

Coffee & Adventure for the Win
This experience was simply incomparable. Learning about coffee, sampling coffee, ziplining over the plantation - you couldn't ask for more. This remains one of my all-time favorite international adventure experiences.

A charming coffee tour, all to ourselves
The staff at the Chicoj coffee collective are very humble and caring. They took us around the plantation and explained how the plant is farmed and its challenges, and then presented a full variety of common methods for brewing the hot beverage and we were able to sample three of them, of our choice. Due to lower tourist numbers in Guatemala there is not much patronage here at the moment so we had the tour all to ourselves. It was quite a relaxing afternoon. There's also a camp ground and some trails here. I highly recommend the 15 minute excursion from Coban if you're staying or passing through, no appointment is required, just turn up!

Great coffee tour!
Amazing tour of the coffee plantation. Got a thorough explanation of the growing process, followed by a zip line tour and coffee samples in the cafe. Amazing tour!

Première visite après Covid
Nous nous sommes arrêtés dans cette plantation au départ pour acheter du café.Nous avons fait la visite avec un guide qui s’est donné la peine de bien parler anglais.La visite a duré 2 h mais quel savoir de notre guide... merci à lui.Dégustation de café à la fin et 75 quetzal.
